I thought I would just let you all know that we have begun our consultation on our draft equality strategy. We will be discussing this with the group in depth on Tuesday, however we want as many public views on this as possible to help shape our final document.
I have added a link which should take you to our online survey page which I would be obliged if you could pass around to any of your groups and encourage people to complete the short survey. There is also an easy read document available on line.
Paper copies of this questionnaire or telephone surveys are available for anyone unable to take part online. Please phone 101 and ask for the Equality Unit.
If any of you would be kind enough to get some paper version completed for us with any groups you attend can you please let me know on Tuesday how many you would like and I will get them to you with pre paid envelopes.
